The 12 of January of 2010, Haiti was struck by an earthquake of magnitude 7,0 in the scale Richter, the most severe earthquake of the country in 200 years. The epicenter of the tremor was near the capital Port Prince. It has been considered that the number of deads arrived at 200,000 people.
The Presidential Palace was very affected, colapsando the second floor on first, the building of the Parliament, the office of the United Nations and the National Cathedral also was damaged.
